Join us on Thursday, June 20, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM for a screening of the film Twilight’s Kiss (Suk Suk) co-presented with Boston Asian American Film Festival (BAAFF). Opening the program will be a screening of After Sunset, Dawn Arrives, a short film written and directed by Andy Yi Li.
Twilight’s Kiss (Suk Suk) follows the story of two closeted married men in their twilight years as they navigate their families and personal histories while contemplating a possible future together. Twilight’s Kiss studies the subtle day-to-day moments of the two men as they struggle between conventional morals and their personal desires.

About the Director:
Ray Yeung is an acclaimed director, writer, art director, and playwright. His first feature film, Cut Sleeve Boys, premiered at the Rotterdam International Film Festival in 2005. Ray is a Columbia University MFA graduate. He is the Chairman of the Hong Kong Lesbian and Gay Film Festival since 2000, currently the longest running lesbian and gay film festival in Asia.

In the early 2000s, Los Angeles, introverted and unsociable 65 year-old Wan falls in love with a man who is nearly 30 years his junior and struggles to embrace his homosexuality, which he had suppressed his entire life, while also confronting his guilt towards his deceased wife.
