Company One Playlab Pao Fellowship

In partnership with Company One Theatre, Pao Arts Center supports emerging Asian Pacific Islander (API) playwrights through this residency. Over the course of two years of community-centered art making, Company One PlayLab Pao Fellows create a new theatrical work with and for Chinatown residents to uplift the unique narratives of the neighborhood. Year one of the Fellowship focuses on research and community engagement, embedding into the Chinatown community, and story sharing. The second year of the Fellowship involves creating and workshopping a new work, culminating with a public reading and closing event.
